If you feel the pain in pigeon, you might have tight hips from sitting, walking, and pretty much being human. I keep on finding myself in lizard posture. I just want to melt into it. Uh-mazing hip stretch for those of us who sit down all day long – because as we do our hip flexors are getting shorter and shorter. I’ve mentioned these before, but it never hurts to mention some other hip opening poses like goddess squat, of course pigeon, and hero (or fire log) pose.
